SCOPE
The Filter Module System addresses several issues facing Chemi-Washer operators. The majority of hydraulic drive systems currently in use were manufactured utilizing technology which is now over fifteen years old. The individual components which comprise these systems are being replaced by hydraulic manufactures in order the streamline and update their products. Component obsolescence is issue affecting Chemi-Washer hydraulic drives in the near future. Most the existing hydraulic drive system component can be changed with new versions, however in order to do so will require modifications to hard piping. This will be time consuming and costly in a breakdown situation.
Din Design
The Filter Module System replaces twelve individual components currently in use on most Chemi-Washer Drive Systems. These items are replaced with components designed upon international DIN standards. Components designed to this standard are produced by the three major hydraulic manufactures (Bosch/Rexroth-Eaton-Parker) and will not be subject to obsolescence. The DIN design standard operates by what is termed poppet logic. Main stage poppet cavities are drilled into each Filter Module block according to the function and oil flow required. The main stage poppet is controlled by a small low flow cartridge pilot valve. This pilot control is also subject to an international standard mounting pattern. These valves are produced by all major hydraulic component manufactures and will never face obsolescence.
